Coca-Cola Recall 2,000 Cases Over Contamination Concerns
In a recent development, Coca Cola has issued a recall for more than 2,000 cases of Diet Coke, Sprite, and Fanta Orange across three states due to potential contamination. The recall, initiated by United Packers, LLC in Mobile, Alabama, began on November 6, with concerns about the presence of “foreign material” in the cans.

The affected cases, all 12-packs of 12-oz. aluminum cans, were distributed in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. The recall involves 1,557 cases of Sprite, 417 cases of Diet Coke, and 14 cases of Fanta Orange, as reported by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

However, via NBC News, Coca-Cola ensures consumers that the recall process is complete and all the impacted cans have been removed from the market.

Nevertheless, it’s crucial for consumers to be aware of the specific products being recalled and check for the following details:

  • Diet Coke (12-oz. aluminum cans):
    • UPC: 49000028911
    • Best by: 01/29/24
  • Fanta Orange (12-oz. aluminum cans):

  • Sprite (12-oz. aluminum cans):

If you have purchased any of these products with the corresponding UPC numbers and best-by dates, it is recommended to return them for a refund or exchange.

To ensure the safety of consumers, it’s important for citizens to stay informed about such recalls.  Coca-Cola is working closely with regulatory authorities to fix the situation and prevent any potential dangers. As always, Coca-Cola and the FDA continue to prioritize customer safety above anything else.
