Liberty Bell's Dominant Performance Secures State 1B Football Title

Liberty Bell’s powerhouse duo, the Paz brothers, showcased their exceptional skills in a stunning display of offensive prowess, securing a resounding victory in the State 1B championship game at Husky Stadium. The Mountain Lions faced against Wilbur-Creston-Keller and demonstrated their dominance. Finally, they defended their might to keep trophy and got a 68-22 win.

In a remarkable offensive showcase, brothers Lucian and Remington Paz amassed over 200 yards rushing, leaving their mark on the championship game. Liberty Bell, the defending champion, continued their impressive playoff run, having scored 76 and 64 points in their previous two outings.

Coach Darin Reppe of Willber-Creston Keller acknowledged the challenge of Mountain Lions. He added that we just are created a better team that day. Despite the defeat, Reppe prouded the performance of his team. He highlighted their best season in Wildcat history and the invaluable experience that they gained playing in Husky Stadium.

Lucian Paz’s outstanding performance included 127 yards on just five carries, accompanied by three touchdowns, while Remington Paz contributed 97 yards on nine carries, securing two scores. Reppe uttered that the Wildcat struggled to continue the race of the crime and to keep rightness. He added that speed kills in eight-man football and that team had heavy speed all around the board.

Liberty Bell took the control of the game with Bodie Thomson’s 29-yard pass. Finally he settled 2-points exchange tone. The 30-yard touchdown reception and 52-yard rushing score of Remington Paz’s jointed 31- yard TD run of Lucian Puz. And they did a leading score for Mountain Lions.

Despite Wilbur-Creston-Keller’s initial touchdown on a 12-yard pass from Preston Michel to Kallen Maioho, Liberty Bell maintained their dominance throughout the game. The second touchdown of the half a 24- yard catch of Thomson contributed a halftime lead of 46-14.

The third quarter saw Lucian Paz extending the lead with impressive TD runs of 39 and 55 yards, prompting the implementation of a running clock. Thomson’s third touchdown of the game, a 30-yard pass from Lucian Paz, solidified Liberty Bell’s victory.
